I don't buy zoas cause LFS's around here either only get in hand sized rocks with zoas that are too pricy cause of the rock and amount of polyps, or they get a frag of gorgeous ones but put them on a huge rock and won't sell them till they spread over said rock. That being said, I took advantage of a little zoa frag for 10 bucks.
It's a quater sized shell with yellow zoas on it. The problem is, is that there's zoas on both sides of the shell...and I can't stand the frag up...but obviously both sides can't both get light. So, I was gonna scrape one side off and put it on another rock, but then this morning I saw a Teddy Bear Crab eating at them. So, now one side has 4-5 polyps, and the other one and a half. I've never fragged anything...and I don't want to frag the healthier one and it die, but I don't want the smaller one to die either...
What do I do?
