A good host?

so my wife likes how the anemone hosts clownfish but i told her that was a no go there is no way i would be ready to take care of an anemone. i have heard since being on reef central that either the torch, hammer or frogspawn sometimes host these fish.which would be the better substitute host for the clownfish and be fairly easy to take care of.

After 6 months my Clown started hosting a small colony of Duncans (4-5 heads). After noticing this I went out and found a 12-13 colony and it immediately took to them! I now have a pair of clowns happily nested in my growing Duncans.

My clown had the choice between a medium sized Frogspawn, BTA and Duncans and it chose the Duncans for some strange reason.

Good Luck! :)

Goniopora, if you can keep it, will readily host clowns. Or at least the clowns will force it to. I have 3 nems and my Clown won't go near em. Stays with the 2 types of Goni I have.
