I tried to Pm you, I'm here visiting Honolulu and wanted to ask you a few things, I can't seem to find any good fish stores here, is it true that there aren't many?
I was expecting to visit and see vast amounts of coral for sale in Hawaii!
Hello Tim!
Sorry for the late reply!
I left my PM box full because many people tend to ask me zoa questions there and I prefer to expose to the public. That way I don't need to keep writing the same thing over and over. At least I wish...
I was working until 6:30 tonight and I just got home a while ago.
Tomorrow I'll be working again from 6am to 6pm, and really busy!!
Kids out of school and all that..
Life is hard in paradise!! LOL!
Yep, not many good stores. You'll find mostly fishes. And yes, as our friends posted before, there is no way to import inverts to Hawaii. Most fishes are legal to import, but not all.
There is no private coral tanks because we also can't collect the corals from the ocean, so... At least legally.
Yep, only Hawaiian zoas and sand anemone. Some small kind soft corals, local shrimps, cucumbers, feather dusters, and that's it.
I'm glad you went to the Waikiki Aquarium!
Enjoy your staying!!!
Aloha!
Grandis.
