Let me just share my first ordering process with all of those who are interested in trying LA.com.
I made a random post a bit over a week ago looking for a fish that I have had a hard time finding (Achilles Tang). The response in the thread from DFS was that they did indeed have two of these fish in quarantine and would be made avail the following week.
In addition, it was arranged that a rep from DFS called me the morning of their release so tht I could choose the fish I would like from the divers Den screen on my computer.
Bought the fish, and moved on. I then had a business issue that would not allow me to be home to recieve the package as originally scheduled, they were happy to reschedule that for me.
The Achilles Tang arrived this morning at 8:30 AM, packing was impecable, went through the acclimation process, placed him in the tank, and he is cruisen around as we speak within 30 minutes of being placed in.
I too am in the service industry, and in my world we call this kind of customer service a WOW. My expectations were exceeded at every point along the way. I see no reason to have to purchase fish elsewhere online. If you are considering using DFS as a livestock source, just do it.
**One Question**
Can someone from DFS/LA please let me know if there was anything specific being fed to these Achilles while in your care?
