i saw something the other day at an lfs, it was midway up in tank , green , and swayed with the current like grass................i asked what it was and the guy said its a green wave? never heard of this , so i didnt buy it........id rather get it somewheres else frankly.....................maybe its called by something else? cuz i cant find anything by that name..........................i wasnt star polyp or flower pot coral, it was more like grass or seaweed but bright green

these strands were about 3 to 4 inches long with no stars so i think star polyp is out? ive never seen pics of the other 2

not sure , lol , its in their show tank, i didnt see any tangs in it so it may be a plant..................i called the place the guy i talked to wasnt there.....................i dont go there often as its an hour away but its racking my brain cuz id like to get one lol im leaning towards tooth if they do sway

here is a pic , its directly behind the yellow tang, star polyps are about 10 o clock behind purple tang.................anyone know what that is?

Another vote for green star polyps. Yes there are a few different kinds. Are you sure it wasn't hair algae that you saw at the LFS?
