I would leave the inverts in the display. The infected tank has to be free of fish for the fallow period, but inverts are fine.

Ahh, the reason I was considering taking out the inverts is so that I can nuke the LR to rid it of the leaching phosphates and present bryopsis. Should I consider another course?

That's up to you. A fallow period will take of the ich. How you treat the algae is up to you. Are you sure it is bryopsis?

I believe so, it is a rapid grower. I will post a picture this evening. It looks like a tiny fern.
