Is this still considered "very difficult"?

I've got a frag that is encrusting nicely. Everything I've read (all older - 2008 or so) says this is tough to keep.

Any full grown colonies floating around? Would like to see what mine is going to do eventually. Mine is Pink/Red with whitish-pink encrusting growth.
