I have a mixed 300 reef and while it does contain some nice sps colonies, I am far from having a great deal of knowledge with them so I am hoping you sps pros with alot of experience will weigh in here so I do not burn anything.
My 250 HQI bulbs need to be replaced from a time respect. They are about 10 months old. I like the color of them but growth is slow because they are 20,000k. I want to replace with 14 or 15 k. What is the best advice on how not to burn my sps colonies with the bulb change? Less time? Temporary screen shade? Other.................. Thanks in advance.
