a little advice please.

Can anybody give me some advice for getting a BTA to adhere to a rock I got one from a friend and it is not on a rock. Can i just put it my tank and let it do it's thing, or is there something that needs to be done first. Thanks in advance.

I think that I turned off all the pumps in my tank, then put the anemone in a spot that I liked and held him there for about 30 seconds, and then let go. After like 5 minutes, I started to turn the pumps on. I turned like 1 on every minute until they were all on. If he gets blown off the rock, turn off the pumps and wait like 10 minutes to turn them back on.

Of course, he moved to where I didn't want him to, but that's what they do.

mine easily attached himself to a rock. Just turn the in tank flow off for a while. If its not happy (like mine right now) he will move.
Maybe just set him down on a couple of rocks that are the same size as his foot. Keep him out of strong current for now. Im no expert.

I'm sure you've heard this before, but just in case, be sure the intakes to your pumps are covered so the BTA can't get sucked in.
