A little bit of vinegar....

it still amazes me how good a little vinegar and water can clean up our equipment. soaked my seios in a 5 gallon bucket half water and one gallon of vinegar. a day latter and a litttle scrubbing with a tooth brush and it looks brand new.

yup works wonders...I use just alittle vinegar, hot water and an old toothbrush......

You can probably buy it at the LFS for $15.00/gallon. They call it magic Ca. remover.

True. I thought my skimmer (old AquaC Remora) was done for--ran my pump in vinegar water for a day, and voila, new skimmer.

hey, I use old tooth brush toclean equipment too, I just have to remember to put it back Jen's medicine cabinet after each use.

Thanks for posting onegreenray, i will add this to my great tip log. i try some vinegar and it worked ok but i didn't leave in overnight so that results were just ok.
