just got a new skimmer today. it is the current fission recirculating skimmer rated for up to 225g. it is on a 29 seahorse tank. i know it is way over kill, but i have a sponge and plan on feeding very heavily. just wondering if i should get rid of the bio balls all together. move the skimmer all the way over and try to partition a little part for a refugium. it has a foot print of 14x9. currently it sits in a 10g. it is designed for in sump only. any suggestions on how to arrange would be great. here is a pic, i know its a little ghetto, and not the best skimmer. i also paid 70 dollars for it NIB, ebay is a great thing.
