So just recently my friend gave me this Soft Coral, but the thing is i don't know what type it is and how to keep it alive (feed). a little help please

With that picture we could only guess as to what it is. Try taking a picture with the flash on it may come out better.

This looks like my rock anemone more than any soft corals I have ever seen. Are you sure this is not an anemone?

If it is an anemone, you should feed it meaty food once or twice a week. If it really is a soft-coral, I would love to know what kind it is.

Yeah that's no coral it's definitely an anemone

Confirmed. That's a rock flower anemone. They are hardy but can get 8" diameter and have a powerful sting. Other corals beware. They WILL move to a spot the like. They are easy to feed and enjoy Mysis/krill.
