A little history

These first two pics are from the National Library.





That's the old Liberty Theater that was a block away from me. The building was built in 1921 and was torn down about ten years ago. The shorter building you see on the right was left behind. On the side was this Coca-Cola ad.



As other older buildings have been torn down, other ads have been found.

I was with a guy from the city's engineering office today and we talked about the Coke ad. Supposedly Coke likes finding them and restoring them. They've been talking about re-doing that one.
