i just got my first micromussa..i will post some pics when i get my cammera back..i just wanted to know what is the best placement for these guys...i have 2 150w metal halides..i have it on the bottom right now.

I find that micros like more light then lords.

It never hurts to start them at the bottom and slowly move them up.

I always say, find out what lighting they were under before you got them and place them accordingly.

That's great advice. Some of my micros like low light and other like moderate light and a little flow. If he stays nice a puffy,and the feeder tentacles come out regularly, you found the right spot.

I also find that the coloration on micros varies based on the light they are under to a much greater extent than lords.

Everything I have is placed immediatly into into blasting light... it kinda goes against conventional wisdom but..... My micros colors just shine and they eat well... I have never seen a micro get too much light
