Hello guys,

I´m waiting my full cycle tank to introduce my anemone. I´m thinking in a Bubble-Tip Anemone and I would like to have a pair of A. Percula.

Is it comum A. Percula host BTA? Or I can have some problem with them?

Thanks and sorry my poor English!!!

Well its a 50/50. I have had a couple of Rose BTA which I try host to more than one A. percula it never happend. I have read that some people after many months finally the clown gets into the anemone.
You will have no problems with either a maroon clown or a tomato clown.

Tomato Clowns LOVE BTAs. The second I put my tomato clown with my BTA it dove straight into it, and hasn't left it since.

I've heard of percula and occelaris clowns hosting in BTA, but I don't think they're as likely to host as a Tomato or Maroon clown would be.

the chances are lower for perculas and occerllaris' as compared to other species of clowns. one of my occerllaris has just started to host my bta and hopefully my other one will follow too. good luck with yours

Anemone should not go to a new tank that just finish cycle. Anemone are difficult creature to keep even BTA. I would recommended against this.

I have to concur completely. Very bad idea.

Renato- I would have to recommend you waiting a minimum of 6 months to introduce a 'nem to your tank of any kind. They are very fragile inverts that are comprised mainly of the water in your tank, which will not be stable or truly cycled enough until this time. Its things like the good bacteria and other things in the water that contribute to the good environment that is needed for this animal to survive. These things cannot be necessarily tested for which is why 6 months may not even be enough time. Yes you may have one survive now, but not thrive. Just like any animal that humans keep, we should all aim for them to THRIVE not just survive and get by.

The wait will give you ample time to read up in the forums about the care and requirements of these animals.

Hello guys,

I added an anemone bubble tip to my new nano reef and I didn´t have problems with it. The anemone is in the tank for 2 months, health and growing!!! And my true perculas are in symbiosis with anemone!!!
