The smaller one is a TR true perc and the bigger one is WC occelaris. The bigger one has been in the tank for about 3 weeks and I just added the smaller one today. They act like they like eachother sense they're sleeping together. The bigger one didnt pick on the smaller like I thought she would but im sure they will quarrel some in the future. Should the perc being TR have any effect on him becoming a dad? As far as I know, TR's still know how to breed. The bigger one was doing the shimmy earlier and it surprised me as I thought just the smaller would do it to show submission. I guess it can go either way?

they both look like occelaris to me...
true perculas look have black colortaion around the white bar.

Yeah i know, but you have to remember this fish is juvenile and Tank Raised. Not a good pic, I'll take more tomorrow so you can see it better.

as u can see there's nota bit of bit between the white bars...maybe it's true percula with no black coloration...but without cut up the fish,color is only way to tell...

It's pretty normal for her to shimmy. She's showing him what she expects him to do.
