A question for all the ric experts out there...

I bought 4 Florida rics almost three weeks ago and they will not open up. They are about the size of a dime and have not changed a bit since I placed them in the tank. I have them in low flow areas with lower light Under T-5 lights most of the day....My water tests are good and the tank has been up and running for over 4 months....Anyone have any suggestions? It just seems like they should be much bigger than they are....Thanks for the help....

What are the parameters? Just saying they are OK tells us nothing really and there might be issues even if they are "OK". Florida ricordea love light as suggested.....

My pH is 8.2, Sal is 1.022,No2 is 0,No3 is 0, and Alk is normal...

What is you alk reading? Can you test for PO4?

1.022 is a low for corals but shouldn't be the main problem.

Lance...I dont have a phosphate test....My Alk is in the normal range according to the test I have....closer to 1.7 then 2.8...
