A question for the mods

Can one of our mods please explain the no group buy rule? I saw the previous thread was locked without explanation and I don't think that's a very productive way of moderating. I don't want to start a fight here, really I don't... I just think that the rules should be explained when there's an obvious question being asked. If you're enforcing the rules you obviously know (or should know) what they are... so let us in on it!

The mod believes I am affiliated with wholesalers or that I at least have contacts with them LOL, im a bartender/cook but whatever thats what happens when you assume. The company was willing to be a sponser of our club, thats all. I messaged the mod and asked him what was wrong with the thread, he wouldnt answer me, he just responded with ANOTHER infraction. Everyone has bad days and Im guessing thats what was going on, so I will leave it at that. No big deal.

bigfish, thats complete bull that you get hit with an infraction for ASKING A QUESTION. I saw the group buy proposal that you had and although it didnt interest me, it definitely irks me that the mods would handle the situation in this manner. I too would like some explanations.

You got infracted again for posting a private communication with a mod. I myself replied to you what I saw wrong with your sale after you told me that it was pay separate and ship to each person. Here was my pm to you. Since it showed you read it I have no idea why you are confused.

Generally you need to contact the mod who infracted you. I have a sticky at the top of every club forum. Group buys are to be club functions, and paid by one person and delivered to one place. There are a few Sponsors that will do it your way, but those have to be held in the sponsor forums.

Then when I saw your actual post you said better than retail, which incinuates wholesale. Maybe a mistake of words on your part, but you've been pushing ever since.
