I'm trying to see if my DI resin is going to be used up very quickly I have been told the CO2 in the well water eats up the DI, I wanted to see if anyone has 1st hand experiance with this??
I have not set up my unit since moving here for that reason I have been buying "market water" and that water has phosphates and of course thats causing algae issues.. Thanks for any help Greg

Greg - better get that system hooked up and start using it. If the membrane dries out it will be damaged or ruined. If it has been unhooked for more than a week or two you may have bioslime in the system that needs to be removed.

Thanks Russ for the response, all membranes are going to need changing.. Before the move it was putting out 9-10 TDS after the DI.. Is there any reason I should be worried about using the well water? The TDS is in the 40 - 50 range.. Thanks

If your well water is 40 to 50 ppm - wow - that's great - very low.

But we don't know what the 40 to 50 ppm is.

So chances are you'll be fine, but no guarantees.
