A recent visit to St. Louis coral shops

Yesterday I made a 400 mile trip to St. Louis to visit four different shops there that were recommended by others on this forum. My first stop was Marine Solutions, a very nice store with lots of coral peices. I made off with some $6 ricordea Fla. polyps. Next stop was Beldt's Aquarium, I was little less impressed, but it was still well worth the stop. From there I was off to Clayton Pet Emporium, another really awesome store with a great selection of very healthy corals. I found a nice tank raised neon green finger leather that I purchased. My final stop was Gateway Aquatics. I had high hopes for this store, but was very disappointed. They had a lot of coral frags, but nothing that caught my interest. The overall health of the animals appeared to be not up to the level of the other stores. It was not a very "showy" store. Marine Solutions and Clayton Pet Emporium are two of the nicest salwater shops I have ever visited. If you find yourself in the St. Louis area, I would recommend you stop by and pay them a visit.
