like others said, I don't want to start arguments, I just hope that from my terrible experience it might get a few people to look into generators and battery operated pumps for a power outage situation like we had.

very sorry to hear about your loss juice. but i must say, after surviving the first wave of the snow storm here in pa i showed my wife your thread and the first thing out of her mouth was, " here is the credit card, go get a generator" haha. so i went a bit overboard and got a 5500 watt one. so we can have other things run in the house as well as the tanks.
