A use for an Eheim 2217

I just received this filter in a used aquarium purchase. I know that canister type filters are not used in saltwater much. So what can I do with it ???? is there any good use in saltwater ??

You can use it to run carbon or other additive.

You can use it to house LR rubble or carbon for filtration. You can also just use it for more water circulation too.
