A WIFI led review

I just set up a 120 with the new China WIFI LEDS , and I have to say they are great. There seams to be two different types of "China" WIFI LEDS. So here it goes. One is the Evergrow brand and the other is the "mars type" , the main difference is in the way they program , the Evergrow has 6 timer settings , but one has to be used to turn the fixture off so that leaves 5 programs for dusk to dawn, along with programmable cloud coverage and simulated lightning , the other "mars type" has 24 timer programs and no special effects. The Evergrow program is the easiest to set up and run multiple fixtures . The other light with the 24 programs allows for a smoother dusk to dawn transition , but sinking them is a pain. I like the Evergrows so much that I replaced the two older manual Mars leds on my 180 for two of the WIFI units , In my 180 they are used as cross lighting , the addition of the cloud coverage and simulated lightning gave the tank more dynamic and fun viewing . There Great I recommend these , the 120 will receive 2 off the evergrows and 3 of the other for a total of 5, its truly amazing what you can do with these new lights. My lighting on 180 consist of one photon 48" led , 4x48" t5s , ATI and Giesman, 2 evergrow WIFI 165w leds , 6x10w 402 nm leds , The addition of the new WiFI also seems to bring a little more pop than the older Mars . I believe it has a few more blues and different optics , the older models have a diffuser lens sorta , where the new have standard optics . Both models have 3 channels , the Evergrow has 2 leds for moon light the other 3 , both are 445nm , That's also a difference from older non WIFI models . Both brands 139.00 free ship from ebay. So that's $695.00 for 5 units 825 watts depending on how you rate them , grand total of $1.19 per watt. That's awesome!!!
