Hi, I asked there too but I haven't had any answers yet.I have looked into it before and reviews are hit or miss. Most appear to be good but there are reports of issues with the app being in Chinese and not all features translating in English. I’ve seen more “bad” in the se with led panels going out. Pros I believe use Cree LED and meanwell drivers.
There’s a large thread on R2R I started but can’t find it to help you out more.
Just found my thread on it - AliExpress A8SE Reef LightHi, I asked there too but I haven't had any answers yet.
I'm assuming the question behind the question is: "Hey, I'm researching to get quality but budget lighting?" I found myself in the same position over the last few years as my Radion G4 Pros were from early on when they were released. I ended up with two Quanta Atlas lights over my 270 along with my existing Reefbrite XHO blues (for a little fluorescence in the evening). I realized that I don't need all of the fancy stuff and really only cared about dimmability, I like a 14k spectrum, and passive cooling to eliminate fan noise. The Atlas uses two options for brightness, a selectable wattage switch with three positions, and a 0-10 volt input for dimming with an external controller. While my tank cooling fans still run a bit when it's warm out, they actually run a lot less than they did with a pair of Radions over the tank.
While I've been struggling with algae due to a dino outbreak, the lights have been working well and I was getting some great growth before the outbreak killed pretty much everything.
This as well^^^^Noopsyche K7 Pro 3 149.00 app controlled. Its not a fun app but it works.
NOOPSYCHE K7 V3 aquarium led saltwater coral light for USA just the light with 4 x M4 threaded holes and other parts available
or NooPsyche K7 PRO III kit with arm bracket with arm
I have been running 10 of these and replaced the 4 oldest that are programmed with a proprietary remote with new app controlled ones.

The old ones appear new once dusted. The diodes are perfect. 2 old ones are going over my refugium. to replace 2 viparspectras that finally died.

If your question is directed at me, that's not what I asked. I just want information on whether these A8 lights are working properly or not. Some say that a blackout causes the settings to be forgotten. I'd like to know if that's true.I'm assuming the question behind the question is: "Hey, I'm researching to get quality but budget lighting?"
