jebao dc 9000 it was over 2 years old. not that it should have gone out i have mag drive pumps that are 10 years old working still.

I was just looking in to getting one of these.... maybe I should reconsider.

I'm old school. AC Reeflo and Mag Drive pumps for me.

That being said, all pumps go bad so its good to have a backup always on hand.

Why do you guys get DC return pumps? I've always just controlled flow one time with a valve - set it and forget it. Is it some other reason - heat or power consumption?
