Just wondering if these pics of abei I came across are from the one that has been in captivity for some time or of one that has been caught recently????

I cannot believe I actually almost OVERLOOKED this post!!! Wow, great pics, too..
Matt, is this in a public aquarium or in private hands? I don't think this fish is homely at all, though some here suggested it a year or so ago.
Any new info on these guys?

If it is, it maybe the Holotype for the species & the origional one in captivity. I hope its still alive..
