? About Blue Spot Goby

Hello,

I am looking at getting a blue spot gobie but had a question. Do they have to have a sand bed? I have a BB setup so not sure if he will like it or not...

Are you talking about a blue-spotted jawfish? If so they need a DSB....

I don't think they need it, I have a 1" bed and he just sits on top of it.

Yes, they most definitely do need a deep sand bed for the optimal environment. Without it they will stress quite easily and most likely die very early.

(Blue spot jawfish) - # 1 Expensive, # 2 Jumpers (If you don't have a lid on tank) keep this in mind whe you shellout the $$$, and yes a DSB is ideal.
