Just how long do flasher wrasses live? Got a blue flasher lived a week. Eating and swimming fine. No signs of a problem, dead after a week. Get another, this time with a girl friend. Samething but lived for two months. I also got a linespot flasher wrasse, atleast that is what it looked like. It was sold to me as a velvet wrasse. In the tank for four months out of nowhere, dead. Both of these where full adult males, the linespots top fin was turning a light blue. I did have a power outage about two weeks before the linespot died but no other issues.
Other fish fine. I don't get it. Am I having bad luck or do they just not live long like my clowns that I have had for eight years?

I have had some of mine for over 5 years no problem. My buddy has had a lineatus for 7+ years. Much longer than weeks or months.

The blue flasher was from the same store Vivid and the linespot from another rainbow pets. No aggression. The yellow eye tang is hyper but no chasing. If one of the blennies up and died I would think it's the tang. The two Mccosters are good but i got them when they were young. When the two wrasses were together there was a little aggression between them but nothing serious. It wasn't the royal gramma or the clowns.
These are flashers not fairies.
