just got my first coral/ mushroom. its a hairy mushroom. since its my first of its type, i haave a few questions. first care and feeding, what and how aoften to feed. second how much light do the need, 75 gal tank with t5 lighting closer to the top of the tank or bottom. lastly how much flow shoud be directed his way. thanks

From what I have noticed these usually don't need to be fed as they will take what ever falls into them. As far as lighting you should be fine with pretty much any placement in the tank. I also believe they like low to moderate flow.

I have a Hairy Mushroom that came as a hitchhiker with some Zoas. It's now about 6" across. I feed it nothing except any fish food fall out it can catch. These things can get huge and start bothering other less aggressive mushrooms they are touching. R

Most mushrooms like low to medium light and low to medium flow. Hairys are super easy to care for. I have had some for years and really never fead them anything but cyclop-eeze and Dt's phytoplankton.
