when you notice after a week or so that the coral does not look as happy as when you bought it and you move it, more flow/less flow/more light/ less light etc after you move it, how long do you wait to move again when the new spot it doesnt seem to help. thanks

its a finger leather coral, but this ? could pertain to any coral. i moved it and seems still not happy, been about 3 hrs and thinking of moving again. thanks for any experince you may have with this.

Leathers should be ok in most areas. What are your params.
But....to answer your question, i would move a piece of sps in 5 days if no improvement. I wouldn't move a leather at all unless it was getting too much flow.

leathers can look dead and droopy for long periods of time. soemtimes more than a week. i would wait 4 days or so. but it really depends on what it looks like. my cabbage leather will look awful for a day or 2 if i move it too much and then look absolutely fine.
