? about multiple return outputs vs CL

On a 280, would I be better off having 6 return points coming off of my sump return or having two returns from the sump and 4 from a closed loop setup?

What would be more cost effective?
Having 2 pumps, 1 for return and 1 for closed loop, or 1 large enought to handle 6 returns?

I like splitting my return and CL for 4 reasons

1- If you need to take a pump offline to fix or anything goes wrong then other is working

2- during feeding you can turn off the return if you so choose and keep the cl to keep the food in suspension

3- I think that you kinda loose flow when your t-ing off and such .I use my cl for flow on the bottom and the return to handle the top flow of the tank aimed at my overflow.

My 2 cents and personal opinion.

4- My CL is on an OM 4 way which makes for nice flow changes
