? about super glue

Was wondering if this dollar store super glue is safe to glue down some frags in my display tank. It contains Ethyl 2 cyanoacrylate. Thanks

Yes, reef safe. You can use anything that says cyanoacrylate. I use Loctite gel super glue, the gel kind works much better.

Totally agree. My local dollar store thinks I'm nuts when I come in and clear out the rack!

bottle says its called adhaer little red cap 1gram each

This stuff does smell kind of strong. Do I just add to the bottom of the plug and set in place and hold? if so, how long does it usually take. Thanks

Yep, apply above water, place it where you want quickly. I just hold it until it stays, less than 30 seconds.

Same here, but the gal there knows all the local reefers now for the exact same reason!!
