About to kick sps out of my life!

Recently I have been getting die offs in my 75g sps dominated tank. I can't seem to figure it out and I feel my tank is on the verg of a crash.

Here is the link for the thread I started with lots of details pertaining to this;

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1216974&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

Here are some pictures I took today of some acroporas that are not looking to hot. They start with white tips then where the flow hits them the most it is like a disease and they just rtn.

If any of you could look through the link, especially the SPS guys and try to help me out. I am about to just sell all the sps later today if things don't look better.

if you want grab me a few pcs and I will put in my tank and see if they continue dying or revive.

hey matt, sorry to hear that, whats the deal on your sump?
what kinda skimmer?
what type of PO4 removal? i know there at 0, lol
what type of salt mix?

i would say change the bulbs though, josh let his hqi's get to old, and it killed some of his acro's and even a monti.

i would say change them out just to be safe, i know geisman powerchrome bulbs are good. and not too expensive.

i doubt you have a diease, and 82 isnt really too hot either if its not fluctuating. i think stability is key.

i dont think your mag is to bad, you could try to get it a lil higher, like 1325. but i dont think thats your problem.

but sorry to hear your having trouble with that tank, it looks so awesome.

Hey Matt I'll be more than happy to help u out.
When things settle down I'll cut u some pieces as a care pack.
good luck and happy reefing.

Just let me know when things settle down and i will frag u a couple of acros.

Matt, this hobby is very exiting and full of challenges, one of the biggest challenges is to be able to maitain SPS's alive and prosper.
Personally I've had several crashes in almost 4 years that my tank is being running, each crash is hard to swallow but I have also learned something new and corrected the issues each time it happened.
It gets better with time and you will be amazed to see that under the right water conditions how fast corals recup and come back to their splendor. Having said that,I have never been a fan of t5's on SPS's I simply think that they are not strong enough.

AGREE with the democrat 4 sure!
The best thing about a crash is u can start again.
There's no quitting! once u love this hobby u are in it 4 life.

BTW I've been away from my tank for a week and just got a call that one of my acros fell into my precious blue squami(that i just got after many moons of looking for it)

Anyways the rock acro casued a tear on the mantle and that's it gone.
Oh well back to the grind!
