I now have three 75 gallon tanks stacked on top of each other. The top tank will be for predatory fish, the middle tank for a reef tank, and the bottom one as a sump. Currently the top tank has nothing in it, the middle tank has my reef in it with about 25 lbs of live rock (pictured below), and the sump is in progress. It has 3 chambers. the middle one is full of live sand. I am going to buy some red and white mangroves to plant in the sand, get some more live rock for one chamber and get some Chaeto for the last chamber. does this sound like a good idea? has anyone ever used "refugium fiji mud" before? I just got back from miami where i visited a store with an awesome reef tank that was filtered with only mangroves, chaeto, and fiji mud so this is where i got the idea from. here is a pic of my newly rearranged reef tank. I took it right after putting the coral in so its not opened yet.
So how does this sound? any suggestions for improvement?
