Above Tank CA Reactor

I've got a coralife calcium reactor that I have been running for awhile. I know it's a crappy model but it's just what I have now. It was sitting next to my sump before and the didn't need an extra pump to get water into the unit. With my new sump there is a good space above it where I can locate it and the co bottle but when I was test fitting it the reactor output drip line seems to siphon out water at a fast pace. Any suggestions or other input on this model?
