Sort of OT but I know a girl from Colorado that interns at the Albaquerque zoo during the summers. She would love these photos! Doug did you happen to see a gorilla that is about a year old? Hannah bottle fed that little guy all last summer.

EDIT: I just talked to here, she really enjoyed the photos! Sadly Noah, the siamang(not gorilla) that I mentioned wasn't able to be successfully reintroduced to his mother. He now resides in Oklahoma with a surrogate mother. She also informed me that she is going back to the zoo to intern again for 6 weeks. Now I can live vicariously through her photos and experiences for another fine summer.

Doug, I thought you were a dedicated landscape guy :) ? I feel the winds changing! Pretty soon you'll be chasing the bears at Yosemite instead of the flowing waters of the Merced River. Maybe even trade that trusty 24-70 for a 400mm...

Personally I like the Sealion. It's got a nice flow to it and great smooth background.

lol

I had my 100-400 on all day. I'm still a landscape guy at heart but there's a local Meetup group that I sometimes go shoot with for fun; nothing serious.

That sea lion was a real ham.

Not too surprising, #1 does it for me. Colors and texture. I've tied flies with peacock feathers and just seeing the image I can feel those feathers. Thanks for sharing.
