Absolute aiptasia infestation

Yes, that's an infestation.
Too much for chemical, I would file method, followed by one large pep.
Small peps don't work, need 1-1/2 inch at min.

Had a case like that once....I killed the rock and regenerated, they were growing inside the rock crevices where predator could not get, so always resurfaced.

This pest comes in on virtually everything, inspected carefully all things going in.
 
berghia nudibranch are the best safe bet! they would be in heaven there! they have worked for me more than once. they are a bit pricey for what they are though.

My old tank was waaaay more infested than this! I got a dozen of these and in about 1-2mths they were gone! Unfortunately being it's only good source they will starve and die off. Unless you can suck them up to resell.
 
Ive had peppermint shrimp for a couple of months that have been useless so about two weeks ago I bought a captive breed filefish that is equally useless. It does pick at my softies but not aiptasia.
