james what unit are you going with instead? I think the aqua 3 is pretty friggin sweet!
I love em and would not use any other brand. I have looked and prefer the Neptunes. No offense to RK, Octopus or any of the other ones. I am upgrading to the AC II.

I like the RK elite that thing looks SWEET!!! I think I am going to upgrade mine as well...
Wanna upgrade to the AC Jr.?? Ask on the forums why Neptune is superior to the other brands. I can give you my biased answer if you would like??

Saw u were selling your AC JR. You said you didn't have it very long...why the upgrade? I thought these were pretty good controllers. I had been looking at them and comparing them to the RK II, and other Neptune models.
Would you use this as a good beginner controller. Im interested
I am upgrading because I want more features. My wife would disagree, but..... With each upgrade in models, you get more options, but then you also pay more. The AC Jr. is an entry-level model that controls my temp, lights, pH, flow and keeps a record of it. I have always wanted a controller like this and finally got the Jr. It works fine, no issues. IT does have a back light, as you can see in the picture above. I think this model costs $150 new not including the price of the pH probe, (which is something like $50). It does not have the serial port, that would add another $50 - $100 to the price, or something like that. I control everything with X10's. You can use a DC4, 4HD or an 8, but I am sure you know this as you have read up on them already. But please remember that I cannot ship it to you until I receive my new model, which should be next Monday the latest.
Now if Garrett does another "Snow Dance" and The Cities gets 27" of snow and shuts down the mail, well, you may get it later than that. Please let me know ASAP if you indeed will take it as I would like a committment before I send it to the big board where I know, at that price, it will get snatched up.
