Sorry to hear it. I was just passed over for two supervisor positions. One opened down south which I applied for. A month went by and none of the seven that applied got hired. Then my boss gave notice and they filled his position with a way under-qualified, under-experienced guy that I trained. That job was never posted.

Then last monday they gave the other job to someone that never even applied for it.

Things in my company are swirling around the drain. And now my new boss is pulling rank and having a power trip telling me how to organize my day when I have 11 years experience doing nothing but satisfying customers and my past 4 supervisors.

Ranting mode = off.

P.S. I'd be happy to be V.P. in charge of staring out the window. I'd settle for assistant to the assistant secondary suprvisor.
