What a wonderful feeling when your house was 90+deg and climbing and the tanks reaching 88...It really sucks. Sucked so much I went and bought a wall unit for my fish tanks. So what if my room is 95deg, as long as my fish tanks are back down to 80deg, I'm as happy as can be. MY ferrets seem to be happier now, also. So, $250 later, my living room feel very comfortable and my room is still hot as hell. Gotta go, my computer causes a lot of heat...

Now just gotta wait for my home warranty company to come out(Tues 8am-5pm...thanks for narrowing it down, there buddy).

i feel your pain man last month mine air handler went out well had to live with it till i found $$ fixed it up after 2 weeks bam condenser went out after 1 day DOH oke now find more $ oo had to get it on loan so 2 weeks later yup i just got my air running 2 weeks ago man 1 month with no air is miserable tank wsa 90 or so but my window unit let me sleep in my room. good thing i dont keep corals yet. hope it gets fixed soon
good luck
why dont these things happen in the winter ehh

What bad timing Craig. Good luck with that - I would be in a hotel until Tuesday....I'm wimpy like that when it comes to heat!

Well, at least my tanks are back down to 80(not running any MH) and my living room is bearable even during the hotter points of the day, so, hopefully everything will be fine until tomorrow. I have a home warranty plan that is coming out tomorrow to fix this problem, so I think I will be in the clear tomorrow...thanks for the concern, my friends.

This was a GOOD thing!
As someone who has had a tank from the mid 40's to the upper 90's it will clear out all of your wimpy fish and coral. What you are left with are those that are the strong passionate surviovors... with a zest for life and your company...

I'm going to take my medication now...

Sorry brother, I feel your pain
Been there, done that...

Luckily nothing died. All the corals that are living in my tank are already very very strong. All survivors for sustaining themselves through all that I put them through learning in this crazy hobby. It's never over, the learning, but I feel I have come a long way in a couple years. I can't wait until I know absolutely everything...J/K.
