I know inductive loads cause problems with relays because of the inrush of current back to the relay when the relay opens (right?). But there are different ways of combating this depending on whether it's an AC or DC inductive load.
Here's my question: Is every inductive load we use in aquariums an AC inductive load? Basically, if we plug it into the wall, it's AC? What about something like a Tunze powerhead?
