AC3 timer name help

Hello all
I just received a used AC3 from some one here on RC, and I am having problems with setting it up. I have an AC2 now, and set it up with no problems, but this one is giving me fits. When I go to add a timer name ( lets say MON^ for moon light) The cursor will only stop on the first letter (M) and then on the symbol(^). It will not stop on the middle 2 letters and just fills it in for me. (MMM, MAM,MAA....) you get the idea. Am I missing something, I beleive I'm doing it right, at least the same as with the ac2. any ideas? I also tried to hook it up to the laptop just like the ac2, to try and edit it that way, but the timer names and programs are for the most part not even close to what is on the ac3. I also reset the controller with the internal memory in the set up program.

Jaandgc,
You have an old version of the firmware in your controller, which has a bug in the timer name editor. The bug causes the cursor to not advance to the next character with each select button press; you are however editing each of the 3 characters with each button press. I'd recommend that you use the web based program editor as it is much easier.
Send an email to support@neptunesys.com, and I'll send you the latest version of the controller's firmware. Please include the serial number of your controller.
BTW, AquaNotes 3.0 does not support the AC3. You must use AquaNotes 3.1 and the ethernet interface (not serial).
