Acan Care?

I have Acan that is slowly dying. I have had it for about 5 months and it grew 4 new heads before it became sick last overthe weekend. What can I do?

If you feel it is ding it probably is best to frag off the good parts and hope they live.

I lost the first frag that I was talking about now I have noticed my 2nd frag is showing signs.

The heads are not fully out and you can start to see the skeleton of the Acan at times.

My biggest issue is I'm in North Carolina for the summer due to work and I'm not being able to take care of my whole system very well. The wife is in training! lol

DO Acan need alot of water moment or slight? I believe anouther issue is that I'm not getting enough water flow over the top of them. I however do direct feedings with DT's food.

I keep mine with lower light. Towards the bottom of the tank and medium to light flow.

Acans, especially lords, like lower light and a cool tank. Heat is an enemy of lords generally. Has your tank been hitting over 81 routinely lately?
