Acan died overnight. -Stung by Frogspawn???

A couple of months ago I purchased a frag with 6 Acan Brain Corral polyps on it. Three weeks later I had 7 polyps; yay, it's growing!!
A week after that I moved my Frogspawn a bit closer to the Acan, where one was sitting about two inches from the other The next day the Acan was gray looking, as in DEAD. Now I see the frag as just a small rock with nothing on it.
Could it be that the Frogspawn extended one of its tendrils another two inches and stung the Acan to death??

Yes. Space is precious on the reef so intruders are not tolerated.

Euphyllia have quite the reach. i've seen my torches and frogspawn "reach out and touch someone" up to 7 inches away.

Yep they are animals and some do not get along. I just brought a frag from home to my office tank and it killed a purple shroom next to it. Funny thing is there is a second shroom and they get along.

I am surprised. Mushrooms usually win.
