will win a battle against green star polyps.

how do you get rid of these things? blow tourch? They are starting to spread everywhere. I guess I will try to scrape them off tonight.

They grow in a mat. Peel, scrape, cut the mat off of the rock. If you are doing this in tank run lots of carbon.
