Acan tissue receding

I noticed tonight that one of my acan frags the tissue seems to be receding. My parameters are

Temp 78-79
Sg 1.024
Alk 9
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5ppm
Phosphate .04
Calcium 380-400
Mag 1280-1300

I spot feed them 2-4 times per week and I don't notice any fish or invert harassing them. The frag just next to it is thriving with many new polyps growing. No other corals show any signs of stress

any help is appreciated.

Try putting it in a lower light area. I find that with acans that they do better in any number of light/flow areas some like brighter light and some don't. Same with flow, some want a good erratic flow and some don't.

So try placing it somewhere it has less light but med flow.

Is it normal for them to one day not like the spot they are in? This isn't a new spot for those frags. Just curious

I usually give them at least a week to see if they like a place or not. So if it's ok for a few days then not ok it needs to be moved.

My acans have their days where they wont fully inflate. As long as it doesn't continue for a long period of time I don't worry.

Them not inflating isn't worrying me its the white part that's starting to show on one of the polyps.

It's really hard to tell how the angles are, but it looks like the acan might hit the rock when it tries to open up. That's a pretty sure fire way to kill them since they get cut every time they try to open. You want it to have 0 chance of its flesh even thinking about grazing a rock if it opens up as much as the one on the right.
