Acan Worms?

I bought a acan lord frag from a reputable vendor today. When I dipped in in revive dozens of slender worms came off (pictures attached). Any idea if they are a pest? They are longer and skinnier than the "acan worm" pest I see in photos o line. However, I am concerned at the number that came off a small frag. Any suggestions for the next steps?

Vendor emailed me and said "those are bristle worms and they are harmless".

They have the right coloring, baby sized though so I would need macro shots to be sure. I would not be too worried.
