they look soo nice but i've read on a few pages that they like low flow and i saw on others that they light higher flow

flow doesn't seem to matter too much to mine ... they are fine anywhere between low to medium ... I don't have any high flow areas.

you cannot kill acan lords, they are very hardy and can be placed anywhere under any light with no feedings...

I have had a couple lords start deteriorating from too much light. They were under 400 watt MH, and high in the tank. Moved them to the bottom of the tank and they perked right back up. They do much better with medium/low light, IMO.

Yes,
I have PC's and all my acan lords are very happy. and they are in the bottom on the sand bed. these are low light low flow corals but they will need some direct feeding to grow faster.

I'd check the propogation\trading selling forums.. sometimes theres some that aren't too bad.. I don't know why folks go specifically for the lords- i like things with color! I got the most beautiful rainbow acan echinata for $20 and it was bigger than the seller said it would be.. hope that helps..

otherwise i'd look for a LFS you do business with often - for some reason the online commercial vendors just seem soooo expensive- plus with shipping its a mess =\
