Acceptable TDS

What are accepatble TDS readings and can anyone recomend a gooRO/DI unit?

0 TDS works for me. Anything more then that and I change the DI resin. It's good for a few hundred gallons.

I'm using a water general that I bought off ebay that works fine. If you high silicates, I've heard that Kent's Hi-S RO/DI works well.

IMO 0-10 is good i have the purelyh2o optima pro unit and it does great. other that are good are filterguys and spectrapure. but first check with your water company to see if you have cloramines in your water.

If my TDS is more than 0, its time to swap out filters (usually the DI cartridge like fatdaddy mentioned).
