Acclimating Containers

Does any online retailer sell an acrylic acclimating container? Would be an acrylic box with holes in it that is place in a main tank with a new fish to hopefully work out some possible aggression issues.

If not, I'm thinking about building something with a wooden frame and 6 sides made out of barbecue grills. Can anyone see any potential issues with that?

Think it's pretty similar. I'm looking for a container hat can be placed inside the tank and allows tank water to move freely through the container - as this introductory process may last 2-3 days.

can't you just buy a specimen container and drill holes in it? that's what my lfs does to put shrimp in the tanks.

I picked this up in Minneapolis MN this week from a LFS there. Not sure if they will do online orders but if you would like PM me and I can get you there website. They had a couple of different sizes at the store.

That's what I've done, if you have access to a drill press it doesn't take any time at all.

If you don't want to kill half an hour drilling little holes why not just get a breeder net? Unless you're planning on acclimating critters with spines that could get caught in the net.

mx36, that looks super pimp, awesome find. Would love to see the website.

Cody, that net breeder would also work great but not sure on teh size? I have a Quoyi Parrotfish ready to be introduced in a few days and worried the resident tangs and angels are going to beat on him as he's of similar size. He was also very shy at first and still is a bit. And i want to do a Regal Angel pair soon and the resident Emperor and BlueLine will not be appreciating that.

Looks like the one mx36 posted, fantastic. Going to email them and see if they'll ship international. :)
